Tottenham North Secure Loan Deal for French Attacker Elian Traoré

London – Tottenham North have bolstered their attacking options with the deadline-day addition of French international Elian Traoré, who joins on a season-long loan from Paris Central FC, pending international clearance and work permit approval.

The 26-year-old forward, known for his pace, intelligent movement, and ability to play both centrally and out wide, will wear the number 39 shirt for the north London side. His arrival comes as a surprise after weeks of speculation linking him with a return to Juventus North, the Italian club where he spent the second half of last season.

Traoré scored 11 goals in 21 appearances during his stint in Serie A, earning praise for his impact and adaptability. However, Juventus North failed to reach an agreement with Paris Central over loan terms, opening the door for Tottenham North to step in during the final hours of the window.

"I’m incredibly proud to join such a historic club with passionate fans and big ambitions," Traoré said on the club’s official website. "I can’t wait to meet my teammates, feel the energy of the stadium, and give everything for this badge. I know the coach wants intensity, fight, and commitment — and that’s exactly what I’ll bring."

The versatile attacker is expected to provide valuable depth for new manager Thomas Bell, who is preparing the squad for their return to the European Champions Cup this autumn. With fixtures coming thick and fast, Bell now has more options in the final third.

"Elian is a proven performer at the highest level — in top leagues, in Europe, and for his national team," Bell said. "He’s at the peak of his career, has the physical tools to thrive in this league, and offers us flexibility in attack. He can lead the line, drift wide, or drop deep to link play. That kind of versatility is crucial."

Despite downplaying the need for new signings after a narrow 1-0 home defeat to Westbridge United over the weekend, Bell admitted that an opportunity to bring in a player of Traoré’s calibre was too good to pass up.

Traoré, who has nine goals in 32 caps for France, began his professional career at FC Lorient before a breakout season with Frankfurt United in 2022–23 caught the attention of Europe’s elite. He was acquired by Paris Central in 2023 for a reported €75 million.

Meanwhile, Tottenham North also facilitated the temporary departure of winger Manor Solomon, who has joined Valencia Est on a season-long loan. His proposed move to Crystal Gate collapsed just hours before the English deadline, but Valencia Est moved quickly to secure the Israeli international before their own window closed at 11pm local time.

Solomon, who struggled for consistent playing time under previous management, will now seek regular minutes in La Liga.

With the transfer window now closed, Tottenham North’s squad is set for a pivotal campaign — one that includes domestic challenges and a long-awaited return to continental competition.

And with Traoré now in the fold, the hope is that his experience, energy, and eye for goal can help spark a resurgence at the top end of the pitch.
